REFLECTION 7:
Influences
CHECK
WIKISPACES
Over the past few weeks we have been discussing many of the people and issues that influence our lives, for example, our parents, our family values and our own personal interests and skills. In this seventh reflection, you are going to write a summary of what you believe to be the biggest influences upon you. In no more than
400 words (double spaced) you are going to describe and explain these influences upon your own life, giving examples where possible.
Here are some questions you can answer that will guide you: a) Who / what influences you the most? Explain b) How may these influences affect your future career decision making?
c) What negative influences, if any, do you feel are affecting you? d) Who / what influences you the least? Explain.
Use the checklist on the handout to make sure you’ve done everything that’s asked of you.
