Find a Group

 Get your gumdrop domes from yesterday

 Get into groups of 3 (NO MORE, NO LESS!!!)

 Answer the following questions on your paper from yesterday before getting started:

1) Make a prediction about what will happen as we test your domes

2) How many math books do you think your domes can hold? (how much weight do you think that is…as an estimate?)

3) Describe what factors influenced your estimation (why do you think it’s that many books?)

Reflections

4) Was your prediction right?

 Describe what was correct about your prediction and what was different

5) How many books did your group of domes hold?

6) What do you think would have been different if you added less weight each time? Why?

7) Describe why you think that triangles are so strong.
