Work History
• Before “Real” work:
- Roofer, carpenter, concrete, painter
• Argonne National Laboratory (’82-’84)
- As an intern in college, learned the value of “real” money and research
• DuPont (’84-’90)
- first job out of college, learned what 40 hours/week is like, “a year-long
project, huh?”
• UOP (’90-’07)
- Understanding work and family life, learning about the “rest” of the
world and valuing diversity, global infrastructure support
• Honeywell Specialty Materials (’07-’09)
- Integrating with a large company, learning about up-ward
management, a lot of change and movement, politics, outsourcing/cosourcing
• Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc. (’09-?)
- Current challenge: government contracts and spending decrease,
services business, transforming group, lots of travel, budget
management, and leadership development
• Post “Real” Work(?)
- Starting to contemplate that, but no where near a decision (9 year old)
