Grading System
Intervention
• This year biology is introducing intervention to insure
success for all students.
• After an exam students will have the opportunity to take
an exam similar to the unit exam.
– Students will have two weeks to complete intervention
– Eligibility for a retake exam requires 90 min. of intervention +
time to retake test.
– Intervention will be offered before and after school Monday –
Thursday 6:45- 7:35am and 2:45-3:30pm
– Original and retake scores will be averaged regardless of scores.
– Staffed by a credentialed biology teacher.
• All students who earn below a 70% on an exam are
expected to attend intervention.
– Complete Details will be sent home next week.
