Create a “Wanted Poster,” PowerPoint or Video presentation. (56 pts) The title of your poster should include why your pathogen is “wanted.” Ex. WANTED Zufu virus: for degeneration of the liver and deaths of millions of humans. Host? Where is it most likely to be found- part of body/type of tissue does it effect? What are the symptoms of the disease? What are the most effective weapons against the germ? (Prevention methods, types of medication, vaccines) How successful are the pathogens? (Do they kill, maim, or temporarily infect victims? Is there a cure?) Who are the most common victims? (Age, geographic location, occupation) How many people are infected? (Total or percentage of population) Biotechnology- Novel or interesting Research? How is vaccine or medication made? See rubric for specific requirements. 5. Create a Work Cited page in MLA format and attach to the back of your poster. (12 pts) All evidence must include a citation. At least 3 credible sources must be used. 6. Present your poster to the class in a Museum.
