Warm Up:
Go to Google Classroom and pull up the text for "Seventh Grade". Also pull up another tab with your

Create a new sites page.
Title it Seventh Grade plot elements 9/9/15
Be sure to file it under the reading folder
Create a 2x8 table.
Label the first block "Plot elements" and the second box "Examples from story"
Once finished, write a 3-5 sentence summary of the story, with at least 1-2 sentences explaining
what you did or did not like about it.
Copy and paste an image from Google that will help you remember this story and put a caption
underneath it explaining the connection.
Your table should look like this:

Exposition
Central conflict
Rising action - give 3 detailed events that built suspense in the story
Climax
Falling action - give at least 2 detailed events that wrapped up the story
Resolution
Theme/ lesson to be learned - this should be a complete sentence supported by evidence from the
text.
