1.1 Particulars of Organization, Functions and Duties :The Ranga Reddy District SC Service Coop. Societies was set up under Coop. Act in the
year 1978 with the Regd. No. TB.155.

I. Functions :1) To provide Financial Assistance by way of Subsidy to the Poor SC Families in the
District for their Economic up-liftment for creating assets.
2) To facilitate the Banks to involve in extending Financial Support towards Loan
component to the poor SC Families under different Economic support Schemes for their
up liftment by way of creating productive assets.
3) To coordinate with other Line Dept. for providing different schemes with the Financial
Assistance of each Dept. for the Socio Economic up lift meant of the Poor SC Families
in the Dist.
II. Duties :1) Release of Subsidy to the SC beneficiaries to whom the Loans are sanctioned through E.
transfer by the VC & Managing Director, AP Scheduled Castes Coop. Finance Corporation Ltd.,
Hyderabad as the Principal Banking System is abolished vide G.O.Ms.No. G.O.Ms.No. 267,
Finance (IF) Dept., dt. 1.10.2012 from 2012-13 onwards.
2) To coordinate other Dept. for their involvement in providing Economic support to the SC
Families.
3)To prepare Dist. Action Plan allocating the Targets to all the Mandals & Municipalities and to
take steps for identification of beneficiaries.
4)The main objective of the Society is to help the Scheduled Castes by providing them
integrated credit and other services production and income.

MANNER OF EXECUTION OF SUBSIDY PROGRAMMES

12.1 The Ranga Reddy Dist.. SCSCS Society Ltd., Activity / Programmes / Schemes being
implemented by the public authority for which subsidy is provided.
As per the SC Action Plan 2013-14 the Dist Society is implementing Economic Support
schemes by transferring the Assistance to be provided through e.Transfer to the beneficiary
account of the concerned service branch for transparency and to avoid interference of Middle
Men for the Schemes sanctioned to SC Families under different schemes with Bank Linkage as
the funds released through RTGS/NFT.
12.2 Eligibility criteria for accessing subsidy and designation of Officer Competent to grant
subsidy under various Programmes / schemes
The Poor SC Families who are living under below poverty line are eligible and accessible to get
Financial Assistance by way of Subsidy from the Society. On the recommendation of the
Executive Director, the Dist. Collector / Chairman accords sanction of Subsidy. This society
also providing 100% grant for Energisation Charges.
Note:- From 01.04.08 on words the District SC .Service Coop. Society Ltd., Ranga Reddy Dist.
is providing 50 % Subsidy on the unit cost not exceeding Rs.30,000/- for all the Bank Linked
Schemes. The Subsidy for the Irrigation, Drips, Horticulture, Energisation, Land Development
Schemes are being met from other department under convergence.
