Mike serves as the healthcare market sector leader for Mortenson Construction. He is a respected leader
in the healthcare industry with 27 years of construction expertise. Mike drives a patient first approach and
has endeavored to discover quality improvements in the healthcare delivery environment while
consistently implementing tried, tested and proven solutions. He is directly responsible for the overall
management of customer relationships, business development, design phase planning and construction
activities. During construction he maintains close supervision of the project management team,
budget/schedule control, and quality control programs. He has delivered 1.5 billion dollars in healthcare
construction during the past 10 years. As a hospital builder, healthcare is the largest component of
Mortenson’s business. We are honored to be associated with some of the leading healthcare systems in
the area and committed to helping our customers find the right solutions.

Rhonda is very passionate about Facility management respects the power of knowledge for all facility
managers, and the impact an organization can have not only through individuals learning from each
other, but the collective ability to influence the industry. With 8 years of experience in the facility
management profession, and 16 years in the architectural industry, she understands and appreciates the
entire lifecycle of a facility, from cradle to grave. She has combined her training in architectural drafting,
property management and marketing in her role with RSP i_SPACE, a facility information management
consultancy within RSP Architects. Her knowledge compliments her natural affinity for technical problemsolving making her a perfect fit for CAFM implementation and development projects. Her experience with
IWMS and CAFM systems has given her a strong foundation and keen insight into how different
companies handle facilities and space management challenges. She has co-chaired both the Public
Relations and Events committees for the past two years for the local IFMA chapter resulting in the
implementation of standards to improve communication and making the events profitable again. She has
also served on her local condo board for the past 4 years and is the current Secretary improving the way
the meetings are run and the minutes are communicated back to the entire association.
Throughout her involvement in Facility Management, Rhonda has built strong relationships both locally
and nationally. She remains dedicated to improving the industry and gaining knowledge in Healthcare
through involvement and education. With a strong belief in the opportunity for the local chapter,
Rhonda hopes to play a key role in advancing the Health Care Industry and HCI!!

Nicole has 15 years of experience as a project manager; with 8 years in Health Care Project
Management. Nicole’s has previously been involved with International Facility Management Association
(IFMA) serving as the student chapter President while attending NDSU. She also served on the
Education Committee for the Minneapolis IFMA Chapter. Nicole has worked with many Healthcare
organizations to help manage all phases of healthcare construction, from conception to move in. More
recently, Nicole has been providing business development and marketing for Walker & Associates, in
addition to her project management duties.

Jennifer has more than 20 years' experience in medical planning and design for critical access hospitals,
academic medical centers, ambulatory care centers, women & children's centers, and other project types
nationally. She leads multidisciplinary design teams to research and plan sustainable, operationally
efficient healthcare facilities. She has spoken at national healthcare design conferences. She is on the
Board of Regents for the American College of Healthcare Architects (ACHA), where she currently serves
on the examination committee.

Sharon has over 10 years of experience in Facilities Management working in a variety of settings. She is
a graduate of North Dakota State University in Facility Management. She has spent the past 5 years
working to improve the technologies used by facility managers through the use of CAFM/IWMS systems.
Sharon has a passion for solving problems through the use of FM technology. Currently she is the IWMS
Program Administrator at Ridgeview Medical Center. In her free time she enjoys her two children, plays
co-ed soccer with her husband and likes taking family walks with their dog.

Stephanie serves as a senior project interior designer and medical planner with RSP Architects’
Minneapolis office. She has18 years of professional experience focused almost exclusively on creating a
diversity of healthcare environments. Stephanie has had the opportunity to design facilities for many
health care organizations throughout the United States. Her caring and personal approach to planning
and design enhances the patient, family and caregiver experience. She is committed to design excellence
in realizing project goals through close collaboration with her clients while applying best practice models,
evidence-based and sustainable design methodologies. Some of her projects have won numerous
awards and she is a published author on subjects relating to facility design.

Toni has over ten years of Business Development and leadership expertise in strategic sales, with
advanced skills in qualifying opportunities and managing all phases of the selling process. She has strong
mentoring and motivational leadership skills along with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Toni has a high level of ambition and integrity with an unwavering commitment to service and success
with a desire to be part of an energetic and committed team, share knowledge and expertise, and achieve
ambitious goals. She has a passion for the healthcare market and is instrumental in sourcing the best
solutions within any budget. Her diverse knowledge of design, research and product implementation is
most appealing to all healthcare initiatives and is a positive to offer insight to the HCI group.

Dan is in charge of Sales and Business Development at ASI Signage. He comes with many years of
experience on a variety of committees, boards and associations. He brings this experience and
