1.
Meeting was called to order at 7:08PM \ Quorum was not confirmed.
2.
Approval of Agenda.
Agenda was approved by all present
3.
Reading and approval of the minutes of previous AGM and/or Special Meeting.
Previous meeting minutes from the September 22th meeting were handed out.
4.
Discussion of any outstanding business from previous minutes.
Nothing to report
5.
Correspondence Received – Hockey Canada/OMHA/Victoria Durham/Three County/Other.
Chris – Shannon Best registrar from Central Ontario Wolves sent e-mail regarding two players playing with the Wolves this season. Kevin
mentioned there should be three, and he would reply back to Shannon.
Midget player also e-mailed asking if he could still register, Kevin also received an e-mail, and it was explained that registration was full for
Midgets for the season.
6.
Presidents Report.
Kevin- Needy family policy. Kevin presented a form that is currently used. Changes for BMHA would obviously be required, but looks like a
good template to follow. Advertising will be placed on the website.
Little Britain Merchants game: Kevin presented tentative advertising document. Still requires pricing for adults to attend the game, which Kevin
will confirm. All BMHA players will be allowed in free if wearing BMHA jersey.
Kevin presented a sample of the proposed new arena boards (magnetic white boards)
7.
Treasurers Report
Heather has gone through several cheques that were in the mail. Several people have still not paid.
Current bank balance is $169,771
Explained reports that are done for recording gate monies brought in.
Would like a copy of finalized rosters.
Has received some funding from Jumpstart.
Approximately $46,000 still outstanding for registrations. Online registration method has been much worse for collecting funds than past years.
List will be completed with people who have not made payments and will be notified.
8.
Directors Reports.
Todd – Three County still wants game sheets mailed in. Goalie equipment for teams has been looked after. Pucks are needed at the arenas for
games. Lynn to take to Cannington and Sunderland, Jeff volunteered to take to Beaverton.
Chris – Received sponsors to date from Anthony and had entered team sponsor information on website.
Suzanne – Still had some cash calendars to hand out. Will be ordering more parent passes. Arena wanted a deposit for Country 105 dance.
May 30th will be reserved as the date.
Jeff – Woodville and Oakwood OMHA and AAA Jeff has seen $3 increase in fees paid above the OMHA minimum rate. There is a concern that
we may have an issue getting refs if this fee is not matched.
Required a float for Beaverton.
Inquired about the process that’s followed for exhibition games.
Questions were asked on the process for training timekeepers in the past, as Jeff is putting together a package to train new\existing
timekeepers.
Gate sheet has been updated.
Reports of Standing Committees.
Registration committee
Will leave registration open to allow for any late beginner age players to register.
Questions regarding bench staff or respect in sport required for beginner division helpers. Kevin and Trevor looking into this.
Mainly bench staff is all that’s left to complete rosters that have not yet been approved.

Jerseys
All teams have jerseys except tyke white and green to date.

Ice Schedule
Trevor has sent out master schedules

Food Booth
Darlene Lang asked for schedule so that it’s know when BMHA games will be happening for food booth. Darlene will coordinate volunteers
accordingly.
10. Reports of Special Committees.
Operations Guide – Trevor and Heather working on draft.
11. New Business.
Photography: Quote received from Susan Wright. Also Lisa Durand has shown interest in doing the photography. Had questions regarding
numbers before submitting a quote. Kevin will bring samples to next meeting.
Clothing: Prices will remain the same for this season for clothing from Sportsline. Winter jackets will be available this season for $90.
3rd Vice President position: Kevin to send e-mail out regarding vacancy.
Skills session’s organization: Skills sessions going very well. Drills have been setup to allow for ease of use for volunteers.
Meeting Dates: Kevin asked if Mondays should be changed to Wednesdays due to several conflicts.
Jeff asked if timekeepers get paid for training. Kevin informed Jeff they do get paid when covering games. Door staff is to be at games an hour
before game start and timekeepers are to be there 30 minutes before game start.
Kevin mentioned option of getting BMHA stickers made up for $.50\sticker.
Todd mentioned skills session ice that is not used due to teams not available on those certain dates should be used for some kind of skills session
for other teams.
Lynn suggested a silent auction or other options such as signed merchants jerseys used as fundraising options at the Nov. 1 Little Britain
merchant game.
