***This will be due Wednesday, November 12th***
The idea is to use the texts we’ve been reading or will read
(“The Sniper” by Liam O’Flaherty, “Am I Blue” by Bruce
Coville, and “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar Allen Poe) to
present your thoughts on the short stories. Your project could
revolve around characters, setting, conflicts, reality, and
prejudice.
Here is a list of ideas:

--Paper chain project: Compare yourself to one of the characters
from the short stories
--Make a diorama or detailed drawing of the setting of one of the
short stories
--Make a detailed poster promoting one of the short stories
--Make a wanted poster for one of the characters
--Focus on one short story: Create three new titles for the story and
design an illustrated cover
--Make a collage comparing a short story’s setting to today’s world
(For example: Irish Civil War versus the current war in Iraq)
--Make a detailed face book page on one of the characters from the
story
--Compare classic protagonists to antagonists using a collage
--Create a villain (antagonist) of your own-What would they look like?
What would they be known for? What powers would they have?
