Project
You will create a project based upon a topic from class. I will give you a
list of topics to choose from but if you have another related topic in mind
then see me. The schedule for this project is below. Your project will be
due on Tuesday 9/29. Your presentation will be any day from 9/29-10/01
depending upon when I call on you.

Your project may be in the form of a poster, a PowerPoint, a photo
essay, a video, or a collage. Regardless of the type of project you do, a
10-minute presentation is required.
Grading of project:
25%- Research:
20% Accuracy of information
5% Sources
35%- Presentation:
15% Energy and enthusiasm
20% Use of time
40%- Project Medium Chosen:
20% Complete, detailed, and polished
20% Creative
Project Requirements:
*Poster:
-very detailed description of topic including relevant details and
events
-information typed or handwritten neatly
-several images relevant to your topic
-chart, maps, graphs as needed
-your name and your sources listed on the back of the poster
*PowerPoint:
-very detailed description of topic including relevant details and
events
-20 slides minimum
-several images relevant to your topic
-chart, maps, graphs as needed
-your name on the first slide along with your topic and your sources
listed on the last slide
*Photo Essay:
-20 photos minimum
-when presenting you may use prepared notes as you discuss each
photo in detail
-choose photos carefully and ensure they are relevant
-Sources and your name must be included
*Video:
-video must be a minimum of 10 minutes long
-it must have audio not just video
-ensure that your topic is demonstrated thoroughly
-sources be turned in a note card
*Collage:
-must include several relevant images
-when presenting you may use prepared notes as you discuss your
collage
