that Roosevelt enacted that were progressive.
3 Please explain in detail how political bosses work, and where they get their power
from. Then please explain why they are often considered corrupt.
4 Please explain in detail the injustices committed against workers during this time
period. Do not list Child labor as an injustice.
5 Please explain the importance of Upton Sinclair and his works. Be sure to explain who
he was and what he did. Lastly please explain how the US reacted to what he did, and
some long term changes that came about because of the work of Upton Sinclair.
6 During this Unit we have discussed child labor in detail, through readings, videos, and
