A team of officers of Special Cell led by Inspr. Lalit Mohan Negi and Inspr. Hridaya
Bhushan under the supervision of Sh. Bhisham Singh, ACP has apprehended a gang of
desperate interstate robbers and solved several recent cases of sensational robberies in Delhi.
Recovery of a huge amount of looted cash Rs. 34,08,670, mobile phones, arms and
ammunition has also been made.
In the recent past secret information was received from reliable sources in the Special
Cell about the movement of criminals committing robberies in Delhi and NCR. Surveillance
was mounted to track the movement of these gang. It was learnt that notorious criminal
Shamim @Bade Miya @ Chimman, r/o Najibabad, Nasir R/o Jafferabad, Pradhan @ Abedu
@ Master, Shamim @ Chhanga both r/o Bijnor, UP, Danish r/o Bulandshahar UP, Pradeep
r/o Dayalpur, Delhi and their other associates were involved in recent robberies of Delhi
including a sensational robbery of Rs. 55 Lacs committed in the area of Keshav Puram,
Delhi, reported vide case FIR No.110/2010 PS Keshav Puram, Delhi and that of Rs. 49 Lacs
committed in the area of PS Okhla, Delhi. The information was developed further. It was
further revealed that Shamim @ Bade Miya @ Chimman and his gang members are natives
of UP and presently residing somewhere in trans Yamuna area and were absconding may be
involved.
On 11.4.2010 acting upon an secret information Nasir Iqbal, an associate of Shamim
@ Bade Miya @ Chimman, was apprehended near Tentwala School, Jafrabad and one
loaded country made pistol of .315 bore along with three live cartridges, was recovered from
his possession. He confessed his involvement in several cases including the Keshavpuram
robbery.
On the same day, pursuant to the disclosure of accused Nasir Iqbal his two associates
Danish Jamal and Shamim @ Chhanga were also apprehended from near DTC Depot,
Yamuna Vihar. Two pistols of .32 bore along with 6 live cartridges, three mobile phones
with three SIM cards and one Maruti Zen Blue colour UP 14 K 1538 were recovered from
their possession . Rs. 10 lakhs cash were recovered from the house of Mohd. Danish Jamal @
Sameer in Bhajanpura, Delhi. Accused Shameem @ Chhanga got recovered Rs. 2 lakhs from
a house of his friend in Mauzpur, Delhi and Rs. 4.5 lakhs from his house in Kasba Chandpur,
Bijnor, UP on 15.4.10.
Nasir Iqbal had supplied arms and ammunition to the gang and on 13.4.2010 he got
recovered from his house Rs. 40,000/- out of Rs. 100,000/- which he received as his share in
Keshav Puram robbery.
The team of Special Cell continued their efforts to arrest other members of the gang.
On 7.5.2010 accused Pardeep Kumar @ PP r/o Dayal pur Delhi was arrested from main
Dayal Pur, Karawal Nagar road Delhi. One mobile phone,5 SIM cards of different companies
and cash Rs. 18,670/- was recovered from his possession. On 9.5.2010 during his police
custody remand Rs. 45,000/- were recovered from his house in Dayal Pur, Delhi.
On 16.5.2010 another accused Abidur Rehman @ pardhan @ Master Bijnor UP was
arrested from near NAS College Meerut. One red colour Hero Honda M Cycle having
registration No. UP-20L-6872, one mobile phone, one country made pistol along with five
live cartridges of .315 bore and cash Rs. 70,000/- was also recovered from his bag at the time
of arrest. During his police custody Rs.1.70 Lacs cash, two mobile phones along with 4 SIM
cards were also recovered from his house. Abidur-Rehman @ Pradhan further disclosed
about his involvement in a robbery cum murder of one businessman near Palza Market,
Patparganj, Delhi alongwith Shamim @ Bade Miya @ Chimman, Danish Jamal and Arif.
On 3.08.2010, specific information was received that Shamim @ Chimman @Bade
Miya @ Pehalwan would come to meet his contact at Bus Stand, Gagan Cinema, Wazirabad
Road, Harsh Vihar, Delhi. A trap was laid near the said spot and accused Shamim @
Chimman @Bade Miya @ Pehalwan of Bijnor, UP, was apprehended after a brief exchange
of fire. One .32 bore pistol along with 3 live cartridges, two spent cartridges, one motorcycle
and 5 mobile phones and two extra SIM cards were recovered.
During the investigation accused Shamim @ Chimman got recovered Rs. 12 lakh
cash, one stolen Santro car one motorcycle splendor purchased from looted money and two
fake number plates used in Keshav Puram and Jaffarabad robbery. He further disclosed
about his involvement in case of PS Jafrabad. He disclosed that he along with Danish Jamal,
Abed-ur-Rehman and Shamim @ Chhanga robbed Rs. 1.80 Lac from a motorcyclist at Sabji
Mandi, Maujpur crossing on 26.03.10. Hence police custody remand of other accused
persons i.e. Danish Jamal, Abed-ur-Rehman and Shamim @ Chhanga was obtained.

BLIND CASE OF MURDER-CUM-ROBBERY WORKED OUT
With the arrest of two criminals namely Man Singh @ Mool Chand Sharma, aged 24
years s/o Dhanesh Sharma and Chander Pal Sharma @ Baba Advani s/o Late Sh. Munni
Lal Sharma, both R/o- V&PO- Baguwaha, PS-Kul Pahar, Distt.-Mahua (UP), Aged 52 Years,
PS Govind Puri has worked out a case of murder cum robbery of a widow Shashi Mishra,
Aged 30 years, residing alone at H No. 1508, Gali No-13, 1st Floor, Govindpuri, New Delhi:INCIDENT:
On 13/08/10 an information was received in PS Govind Puri vide DD no. 39A about
a foul smell emanating from H No. 1508, Gali no.-13, 1st Floor, Govind Puri. On reaching
the spot, it was found that deadbody of a lady aged about 30 years was lying in the
bathroom in a decomposed state. The hands of the deceased were tied with Chunni and the
neck of the deceased was also tied with an electric wire. The deceased was identified with
the help of neighbours as Shashi Mishra w/o Late Sh Shyam Mohan Tripathi, who was
staying alone in her flat for the last about one year. The deceased was last seen at about 11
PM on 10/08/10. A Case FIR No. 282/10 dated 13/08/2010 u/s 302 IPC got registered at
PS Govindpuri. The house was also found ransacked.
TEAM:
To work out the case, three teams were constituted under the supervision of ACP Sh
Rakesh Pawaria, ACP/Kalkaji led by Inspector Veer Singh, SHO/Govind Puri, Inspector
Mahender Singh, Inspr. Investigation and Inspector Kusum Pal Malik (Special Staff/SED)
comprising of other staff of PS Govind Puri.
INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION:
In the beginning it was a blind murder case and there was no clue about the
accused persons and there was also no information about the relatives of the victim.
During the course of investigation, it was found that the deceased had purchased this flat
in July 2009 and her husband died in the year 2002. The whereabouts of the family of the
deceased were traced and found that she was survived by his younger brother Din Dayal
Mishra. Initially, it appeared a case of murder, as the deceased was wearing jewellery,
which was not taken away. The deceased was found to be using two mobile numbers but
both the mobile instruments were found missing. The call details of both the SIM were
examined and on the basis of call details examination, it was found that one Man Singh @
Moolchand had contacted the deceased on the night of 10.8.10. the address of Man Singh
@ Moolchand was traced and after sustained interrogation, Man Singh @ Moolchand
confessed to have committed the crime alongwith one Chander Pal Sharma @ Baba Advani.
The murder was committed with the motive of robbery. The accused used to visit the
deceased very frequently and developed intimate relations with her. During interrogation,
Man Singh @ Moolchand revealed that around one year back, the deceased took out Rs.
33,000/- from the accused and later on refused to return back the amount. The accused is
working as a Sewadar in Hanuman Mandir, Connaught Place. A week prior to the
commission of the offence, Man Singh @ Moolchand and Chander Pal Sharma @ Baba
Advani, hails from the same village, planned to murder Shashi Mishra to take revenge as
well as to rob her. On 10.8.10 both the accused contacted the deceased and informed that
they will be coming to her around 11PM in the night. As planned, both the accused visited
the house around 11:00 PM and stayed almost one hour. They were offered tea and as per
plan they strangulated the lady in the bathroom, tied her hands and decamped with cash
and jewellery. The accused Chander Pal Sharma is also arrested.
PROFILE:
Man Singh @ Mool Chand Sharma, aged 24 years s/o Dhanesh Sharma R/o- V&POBaguwaha, PS-Kul Pahar, Distt.-Mahua (UP), is an illiterate and came to Delhi about 5
years ago. He works as a Sewadar in Hanuman Mandir, Connaught Place.
Chander Pal Sharma @ Baba Advani s/o Late Sh. Munni Lal Sharma, R/o- V&POBaguwaha, PS-Kul Pahar, Distt.-Mahua (UP), Aged 52 Years, PS Govind Puri came to Delhi
about 20 years ago. He used to work as a Rickshaw puller at Kali Mandir, Cycle-Rickshaw
stand, Minto Road, Delhi for the last 20 years.

INTER-STATE AUTO LIFTER GANG BUSTED – 4 M/CYCLES RECOVERED
With the arrest of two accused persons namely Jay Dubey S/o Sh. Ram
Bharose R/o village Nangla Dharampal, PS/PO Barnahal, Distt. Mainpuri, U.P.
and Chhotu Kumar S/o Sh. Jagdish Chaqnd Yadav R/o H. No. 512, Khera
Mohalla, Karhel, Distt. Mainpuri (U.P.), local police of P.S. Badarpur, South-East
Distt. has busted an inter-state gang of auto-lifters and worked out 5 cases of
MV Theft of P.S. Badarpur, New Delhi registered vide FIR Nos. 181/10, 187/10,
192/10, 196/10 and 197/10 u/s 379 IPC and one case of Agra vide case FIR No.
518/10 P.S. Hari Parwat, Agra, U.P. and recovered 4 motor cycles from their
possession.
INCIDENT AND TEAM:
Due to recent incidents of M.V. Thefts in the police station area, the calls
of MV theft were analyzed and vulnerable places were identified and accordingly
proper patrolling/picketing & sources were made at these places. The whole
beat system was revamped and every Beat officer was tasked to yield result.
On this, a team of HC Dharam Prakash and Ct. Yogesh was formed. While
on patrolling duty in the vulnerable areas, they received a secret information
that one boy, who often changed his motor cycle, would come at Shamshan
Ghat Road. On this the patrolling staff positioned themselves at Main Market
Molarband Extn., Badarpur. After some time they noticed that one boy was
coming on motor cycle from Tajpur village side. They stopped him and asked for
the documents of the vehicle but he could not produce any document of the said
vehicle. During the interrogation it was found that the motor cycle on which he
was riding bearing registration No. DL-3SBC-1237 was stolen in case FIR No.
192/10 u/s 379 IPC, P.S. Badarpur. He further confessed to have stolen 4 more
motor Cycles from Molarband area and handed over to one Chottu Kumar s/o
Sh. Jagdish Chand Yadav r/o H.No. 512, Khera Mohalla, Karhel, Distt. Mainpuri
(U.P.). Accused Chottu Kumar was also arrested at the instance of accused Jai
Dubey and 2 motor cycles were recovered from him and two more motor cycles
had been sold to one Vipin R/o Karhel who managed to escape.
MODUS-OPERANDI:
It was learnt that these accused used to visit P.S. area with master ‘T’ type
iron key during evening time between 6.00 PM to 11 PM. They looked for the
vehicles which were parked at some isolated place or unattended, then they try
to open its lock and thereafter take to Mainpuri, U.P.
PROFILE:
Accused Jai Dubey, age 19 years is a student of B.A. 1st year. His father is
a security guard with a private company. He is also involved in case FIR No.
518/10 u/s 379 IPC P.S. Hari Parwat, Agra, U.P. and motor cycle was recovered
at his instance. Accused Chottu aged 22 years is a Matriculate who belongs to a
poor family. He has no previous involvements.

FIVE ARRESTED OF BIJENDER GANG INVOLVED IN MURDER IN
A INTER GANG RIVALRY : FIRE ARMS USED IN THE
COMMISSION OF CRIME RECOVERED.
INTRODUCTION
With the arrest of five persons namely i) Vinod Bhagte, aged 35 years, s/o Sh. Ram
Kumar r/o V & PO Kundli, Distt. Sonepat Haryana, ii) Vikas Kataria @ Vikky, aged 28
years, s/o Munshi Ram r/o H.No. H-100, Adhyapak Nagar Nangloi , iii) Pradeep Kumar,
aged 28 years, s/o Mahender Singh r/o V&PO Narnaund, Distt, Hissar, Haryana, iv) Rakesh
Kumar @ Golu, aged 27 years, s/o Sh Om Prakash r/o V &PO Halal Pur Distt. Sonepat
Haryana and v) Triveni Sharma @ Sonu s/o Sh. Mool Chand r/o A-446, Jahangir Puri Delhi,
the staff of Police Station Adarsh Nagar solved a case of murder committed by the gangster
on the intervening night of 8-9/8/2010.
INCIDENT & POLICE TEAM :
During the night intervening 8-9/8/10 at about 12.0 PM a PCR call was received that
in front of Indira Nagar ‘A’ Block, Sanatan Dharam Mandir 3 persons have been shot near
water tank Adrash Nagar. One injured person (Anil Dhaba wala) was shifted to Hindu Rao
Hospital where he was declared brought dead by doctors and two injured persons namely
Rahul Rathi and Anuranjan Rathi was admitted in Trauma Centre. Inspr. Randhir Singh,
SHO Adrash Nagar recorded statement of Rahul Rathi who reported that he has old enmity
with the criminals Jyoti and Babley his associates. Accordingly a FIR No. 201/10 u/s
302/307/34 IPC was registered in the Police Station Adarsh Nagar.
To nab the criminals a Police team consisting of SI Lalit Kumar, ASI Shashi Kumar,
HC Davender, HC Ramesh Chand , Ct. Rahul and Ct. Zakir Hussain led by SHO/Adrash
Nagar Inspr. Randhir Singh in the close supervision of ACP/M.Town, Pratima Sharma.
INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION :
During the course of investigation Police team developed intelligence deployed
informer and interrogated suspects to reveal the mystery of murder and attempt to murder
case and came know that Jyoti and Babley gang was having old enmity with Mahender
Pahalwan Gang and both the gangs had committed murder of the members of each other’s
gang.. But both the gangs have compromised mutually in the year 2000 and till both of them
maintained silence relations with each other and there is no involvement of Jyoti and Babley
in this incident. Further scientific investigation revealed that Mahender Pahalwan and Rahul
Rathi gang has enmity with one Bijender Yadav gang and Vinod Bhagte Gang and they have
strained relation due to a dispute on a 800 Sq Yards Plot situated in Bhalswa Dairy and Cable
distribution in Adrash Nagar and Jahangir Puri. Both the gangs were trying to eliminate each
other to have supremacy in these fields. Bijender Yadav and Vinod Bhagte gang chalked out
a conspiracy to remove Mahender Pahalwan from their way and they were observing the
movements of Mahender Pahalwan and following him from last one week but they could not
get a suitable opportunity. On the fateful day they got the opportunity and found the personal
car of Mahender Pahalwan parked near the dhaba with head light on. There was black film
on the glasses of the car. Considering Mahender Pahalwan and his associates inside the car,
the sharp shooters of Bijender and Vinod Bhagatey Gang opened fire indiscriminately on
the car, in which Anil Dhaba wala was killed and Rahul Rathi and his brother Anuranjan
Rathi were seriously injured.
PROFILE OF ACCUSED
1.
Vinod Bhagte s/o Sh. Ram Kumar r/o V & PO Kundli, Distt. Sonepat Haryana
: The accused has taken over the leadership of Anil Bhagtey Gang. Who was operating in
subzi mandi and he was killed in Police encounter. The accused is involved in heinous cases
of various cases of Delhi and NCR. He is found involved in two murder case one each of PS
Adarsh Nagar and PS Bahadur Garh and one attempt to murder case of PS Narela. He is also
found involved in a robbery case of PS Gannor, Sonipat, Haryana.

Vikas Kataria @ Vikky s/o Munshi Ram r/o H.No. H-100, Adhyapak Nagar
Nangloi : He is a sharp shooter of gang and involved in one murder case. He is found
involved in a murder case of PS Nangloi in the year 2001. He is found involved in a case of
Excise Act in the PS Kanjawala. He is found involved in some cases of robberies.

Pradeep Kumar s/o Mahender Singh r/o V&PO Narnaund, Distt, Hissar,
Haryana : He is a sharp shooter of Vinod Bhagte Gang and involved in other cases. He is
also found involved in a case FIR No. 462/05 dated 15.7.2005 u/s. 452/506/34-IPC in PS
Ashok Vihar.

Rakesh Kumar @ Golu s/o Sh Om Prakash r/o V &PO Halal Pur Distt.
Sonepat Haryana : He was the driver of the car and absconded with the gang after the
crime and took the gang to their hide outs.
5.
Triveni Sharma @ Sonu s/o Sh. Mool Chand r/o A-446, Jahangir Puri Delhi.
He is main conspirator and collected the information for the gang about the activities of his
opponents and arranged an Accent car in this present case on the behest of Bijender Yadav.
The gang leader Bijender Yadav and his associates are yet to be arrested and they
are absconding and investigation is in progress.
RECOVERY :
1.
One Honda City car bearing number DL- 4 CAF-5431 used in this case. The car
recovered from Rakesh @ Golu.
2.
One .32 bore loaded pistol was recovered from Vikas Kataria@ ;Vikky which was
used for firing in this case.
3.
One .45 MM Pistol loaded which was used for firing in the present case recovered
from accused Pradeep Kumar above said.
4.
One .38 Bore Revolver loaded recovered from Vinod Kumar @ Bhagtey, who was
giving cover to the sharp shooters.
