IBHL Written Assignment and Reflective Statement
The IBHL English Written Assignment can take many forms; however, you must write it on
one of the following works:
Pedro Paramo by Juan Rulfo
Selected Poems by Wislawa Szymborska
The Stranger by Albert Camus
The paper must have a word count between 1,200 and 1,500.
Papers must be formatted using MLA style (double spaced) with the heading formatted as
follows:

Candidate Number
Written Assignment
Title
Additionally, papers must include the candidate number, last name and page number on each
page (in that order in the upper right: see below).

Moreover, the paper must include the word count (between 1200-1500 words) listed
immediately after the concluding paragraph: double space and paste word count as follows.

The Reflective Statement must be written on the same work as the paper; however, the topics
do not need to be related. Format the Reflective Statement in the same manner.

The Reflective Statement must include the word count (between 300-400 words) listed
immediately after the concluding paragraph: double space and paste word count.
