Miller Paint Co., Inc., to Acquire Business Operations of
Denfeld Paints in Bend & Redmond
Bend, OR – April 2, 2014 – Miller Paint has entered into an agreement with Denfeld Paints
to acquire the business operations and assets of the two Denfeld Paints stores located
in Bend and Redmond. Miller will operate the two locations, while maintaining the high
level of customer service that has been the hallmark of both Miller Paint and Denfeld
Paints for over 38 years in the Central Oregon market. On Monday, April 14, 2014 the
ownership of the business at the two Denfeld Paint stores will transition to Denfeld’s
Miller Paint, with no other changes to the business operations planned.
The strategic alliance between Miller Paint and Denfeld’s has been a long-established
relationship that dates back two generations to the 1970’s. The high-quality, well-known
Miller Paint product line-up has been an integral part of the Denfeld’s product offer for
many years and will now be expanded to other lines that Miller currently distribute such
as Kelly Moore Paints, Sto Coatings, California Paints Storm Stain, and International
Paints Devoe Coatings. Discussions of a Denfeld-Miller Paint combination were finalized
when a major supplier of one of the paint lines Denfeld’s currently carries made the
decision to establish their own company-owned store in the Bend/Redmond area and
compete directly with Denfeld Paints.

that has been a market leader in the Pacific Northwest since 1890, is a great chance for
the employees of Denfeld Paints to become part of a successful and growing regional

also join Miller as a Regional Sales & Operations Manager in the new Central Oregon
Region and spearhead future expansion in the region.
