Project Management is Key for Organizations and Managers Whether your field is information technology or architecture, successful planning involves a carefully crafted set of steps leading to planned and measurable goals. In today’s fast-paced business environment, the practical skills, insightful strategies, and cutting edge concepts of project management are vital tools that managers must bring to the organization if they are to succeed. The Pace Computer Learning Center now offers a powerful curriculum in project management which is built on the core PMBOK® (Project Management Body of Knowledge) standards and approved by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). As an educational affiliate of Boston University, Pace’s curriculum strengthens the skills and abilities of new and experienced project managers, and provides participants with a foundation on which to prepare for taking and passing the PMP® (Project Management Professional) exam. During our programs, student teams plan real-world projects. Working in teams accelerates learning and prepares participants to deal with projects on the job. The student first learns to identify and understand the issues and pitfalls currently facing project managers, and then learns to solve them.
