The One to One reading program at Haldane Elementary begins this month. This is a volunteer reading program coordinated by Bruce Nelson. Volunteers come into the school and read with students for a few minutes 2-3 times per week. Thank you Bruce for all of your hard work! Our annual Dieleman Catalogue fundraiser has been sent home on October 2nd with a return date of October 16th, 2012. This is a great fundraiser for our school and over the years it has helped us out greatly to fund items such as smart boards, fieldtrips, playgrounds etc... Every child has been given a 2 week period, extending over the Thanksgiving weekend and also keeping in mind that Christmas is just around the corner.
