Section 2 - Main Duties
Main Function
of Post:
To work with the Principle Investigator on a research
project funded by xxxx to investigate/establish xxxxx to
achieve the aims of the project
Job Description:
 To undertake desktop research on the most up to








date and novel methods of evaluation, consultation
and analysis, including literature searching, retrieval
and reference management
To liaise with other professionals in order to obtain
further information relevant to the study
To contribute to research publications and
presentations as required
To prepare written summaries of the research work as
required
To recruit participants to the project, arranging
appointments and conducting interviews
To undertake preliminary data analysis using standard
research techniques
To support the dissemination of the research by
attending meetings, assisting in the preparation of
reports and publications and delivering presentations
as appropriate
To provide research support for work being
undertaken by other senior researchers within the
research group and/or School
You may be asked to perform other duties
occasionally which are not included above, but which
will be consistent with the role.
