SAMPLE OVERVIEW OF ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR MAJOR AREAS OF STUDY IN 2008 PLEASE NOTE: These overviews are suggestions only and do not cover all areas. They are an attempt to help students and parents plan their way through a maze of courses and subject prerequisites for tertiary study in 2008. Students will need to continue and review their own research, over the next 12 months in order to make informed decisions. It is essential that students: * Attend Open days * Review the VICTER 2008 (for University courses) or TAFE courses directory (for certificate/diploma courses) * Familiarise themselves with the VTAC website www.vtac.edu.au - Log onto courselink * Read current University and TAFE guides that are available at open days or upon request from the Careers office. Many tertiary courses have other special requirements, not just prerequisites in order to be eligible for entry eg, interviews, folios, testing or additional application forms. The 2004/05 ENTERS used in this publication are a guide only. Universities reserve the right to change the ENTER each year.
