Lecturer at Kisii University
I work at Kisii University as assistant Lecturer. The main responsibilities involve
designing course programmes and developing training materials in addition to
giving lectures on Accounting and Finance.

Senior Auditor with Makone and Associates (CPA-K)
I was an audit senior in the Audit and Business advisory services division of the
firm. The work entails determining audit objectives, preparing audit programmes,
putting together the human resource necessary for the achievement of the audit
objectives, leadership and supervision of the audit team (usually between two
and six strong). To achieve the audit objectives the system of internal controls
has to be evaluated. The products of the audit process include the audit report
or opinion, the internal control report (dwelling on ways that the system of
controls could be improved) and the board report (a report to the board of
directors covering major strategic and operational business issues and
recommendations). The scope of advice is unrestricted but requires a thorough
understanding of the operations and systems of each firm.

Worked with Harrow Borough Council as Trainee Accountant
Trained as an Accountant on auditing, financial reporting and taxation
management.

Worked with Charnwood Borough Council as a Finance Assistant
I joined the firm as an assistant to the Finance and Administration Manager, with

of the company with a view to assessing their effectiveness.
 Develop an emergency recovery plan for the company, which would
ensure that it is able to meet its immediate obligations.
 Develop a detailed strategic visionary direction for the company that
will provide for achievement of its goals.
 Deriving from (three) above to develop a detailed business plan to
cover the next five years.
