Bill of Rights Collage
The Bill of Rights is the lynchpin of the Constitution. Without at least the promise of a Bill of
Rights, the Constitution would not have been ratified and we may still be living under the
Articles of Confederation (assuming we’d still be living). The Bill of Rights also contains the
rights and guarantees most impactful to our lives. Each of these rights affects (or could affect)
our lives in a big way. Exploring these connections is the purpose of this assignment.
Task
Your job is to create a collage that shows what each amendment means to YOU. How does each
amendment impact YOUR LIFE? Represent that effect with a picture.
You may use:
1) Pictures/Magazine Clippings
2) Illustrated Quotations
3) Your own Artwork
4) Pictures printed from the Internet
5) Photographs
Do whatever you need to do in order to show me that you understand the amendment, its
protections, and what it means to you.

- On the back, please explain why you chose your picture for each amendment
-One sentence is all you need, written is fine if it is legible
- For amendments with more than one part or right, pick the one that you believe impacts you
