Bill of Rights Collage Project • Work in a group of 3-4 students to create a collage on one of the first ten amendments to the Constitution. • Use clippings from magazines or clip art from the computer that illustrate the meaning of your amendment. • Glue your pictures on a poster so your collage is visually appealing and there is little blank white space in the background. • Make sure you have a title with the name of your amendment. You may want to have a subtitle that summarizes the main meaning of your amendment. • On the back have the actual words of the amendment typed out, a summary of what the amendment means in your own words, and the names of everyone in your group. • Teach the class the meaning of your amendment using your collage as a visual aide. Your Task… • Content (20 points possible) - 10 points for content of collage - 10 points for content of written explanation • Creativity (5 points possible) - 5 points for the visual appeal of your collage • Quality (10 points possible) - 5 points for neatness & following all directions - 5 points for quality of spelling, grammar, & punctuation Rubric
