Exploration/Development Fields

Coordinate closely with field, petrophysicist, Geophysicist and reservoir
engineer.

Responsible for generating both sector and full filed static geological models
and also responsible for building the structure models, facies models utilizing
a various data types (well data, Seismic, FMI) that honor the depositional
model, petrophysical modeling and up scaling. Working as a midpoint
between the development geoscientists and reservoir engineers.

Provide, Sediment logical studies between high Resolution 3-D Seismic, core
intervals and FMI interpretation for best estimation and evaluation for our

2-D and 3-D Facies analysis mainly using integration between different
seismic attributes and well data then using these for building Static Model

Reserve Calculation by using different accurate methods taking into
consideration static steps.

Sedimentlogical interpretation for development fields and the integration
between 3-D seismic (Reservoir Characterization relaying on different
techniques), Formation Micro Imaging Techniques, Core analysis with
General Geology of that region concentrating mainly on the structure
elements, Geological environment and direction of facies variation in terms of
reservoir quality and field planning.

Rashpetco/Burllus
of 3D-static reservoir geological models by integrating all surface and
subsurface geological and geophysical data
Geological Data
Strong background about surface geology i.e. structural, stratigraphic, and
depositional elements.
Geophysical data
A- High quality 3-D seismic volumes
1- Pre-stack inversion cubes (Amplitude Variation with
Offset AVO)

lithology cub

Acoustic Impedance cub

Hydrocarbon probability cub

Passion's Ratio cub

Shale probability cub

P-wave velocity cube

S-wave velocity cub
2- Post-stack seismic inversion volumes
Relative Acoustic Impedance (RAI)
e.g.
All kinds of 2D maps including attribute maps e.g. Average Absolute
Amplitude (AAA), Root Mean Square (RMS), structure contour map, depth
map,
fault
map,
Isochore
map,
Hydrocarbon saturation map, net sand map….etc
B- Bore hole log data
1. conventional log data
Gamma ray & Spectral Gamma Ray, Resistivity, Density >< Neutron,
Spontaneous Potential, caliber logs.
2. High resolution log data
Formation Micro Imager (FMI), Conventional Core Analysis, Special Core
Analysis (SCAL), Combinable Magnetic Resonance log data (CMR). In
3
addition to Recall software results that gives three different probability for the
Hydrocarbon sands; case-1 case-2, and case-3.
3. Production Data
DST'S & Multi rate test analysis. Reservoir pressure distribution against time
and rate.
All the above listed data are integrated together as an input data for the static
model building. The more control points you have the lower the uncertainty
and the more accuracy you achieve.
