Make-up Assignments for Classwork: If you have an EXCUSED absence you will be required
to complete an alternative assignment to make up the points of that day. Go to

title put (make-up). Go http://www.amphi.com/teachers/mhering/APworld.html and click on
“Chapter Study Aids” click on the chapter you missed, choose Short Answer from the menu on
the left hand side. Print your answers and attach them in your notebook. For additional days you
will be required to complete 2 Web Explorations) *You are still responsible for all missed
information covered in class the day of your absence.
Chapter Quiz Make-up Assignment: If you have an EXCUSED absence on a day of a chapter
quiz, you will be required to write an essay explaining and giving examples of TWO of the AP
World History themes (Human-Environment Interaction, Culture, Politics, Economics, Social)
including major changes and continuities and/or comparisons.
Essay Make Up: If you have an EXCUSED absence on a day of an in class essay, you will be
required to hand write the essay. It will be due one week after your absence.
