Selwyn, M.D. (Yale University Press) RESOURCES OF PEOPLE WHO HAVE ATTENDED TRAININGS LED BY ELISABETH KUBLERROSS STAFF (USA): Ruth Bolletino, Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, is a psychotherapist in private practice specializing in work with people dealing with cancer or other life-threatening illnesses (patients, former patients, and those close to them), trauma and loss. The therapy focuses not on what's wrong with you, but what's right and true for you, and how to express yourself in your own best and natural ways that bring meaning and enthusiasm to your life. Making psychological and life-style changes has shown to have physical as well as emotional effects. Those who are ill often exceed medical expectations. Those who have recovered appear to increase their chances of non-recurrence, and those already well, their chances of maintaining their health. Ruth has given numerous workshops and presentations in the U.S. and abroad and published articles in professional journals. Besides weekly or intensive office sessions in New York City, she offers phone or Skype sessions for people living anywhere in the U.S. or abroad. They have developed a 90-day Extended Treatment Program which includes The Externalization Process/mat work. Many of the clients in the Program have suffered repeated relapses and/or have experienced deep emotional trauma. The mat work allows them to externalize the emotions around their trauma and to discover the issues that have been blocking them from a lasting recovery. A recent graduate sent a note saying, Thank you, Fellowship Hall, for helping me to get sober and for helping my little girl find her voice. For more information about the Program, contact Jim or Mike at Fellowship Hall, 336-621-3381.
