Request to attend 2013 SMTA International Conference
I believe that the 2013 SMTA International Technical Conference and Electronics Exhibition is the most costeffective professional development opportunity available to me this year. SMTA International offers over 130
technical papers presentations; four symposia on Evolving Technologies, Harsh Environments, Lead-Free
Soldering Technology, and Counterfeit Electronics; and 18 courses taught by internationally respected
instructors. The Conference Proceedings (a $160 value) which include all the technical papers presented, is free
for all conference registrants, and can be shared with my colleagues who are not able to attend the event. In
addition, the Electronics Exhibition which focuses exclusively on electronics assembly, and features the products
and services of more than 150 companies this year.

The Early Bird price saves $100 if I register before September 13th. There are also several conference packages
available, which means we get more value for our training and development dollars. One package allows four
employees from our company to attend for the price of three which saves up to $775. First time attendees can
also deduct an additional10% from the registration total! The SMTA continues to provide us exceptional pricing
for this five-day conference. Registration for the Electronics Exhibition only (including six free Technical Sessions
on the show floor) is FREE with pre-registration ($25 on site) and offers a valuable opportunity for more of our
staff to attend.
This conference will provide the knowledge that I need to keep pace with rapidly changing technology,
networking to identify innovative solutions, and time to discuss the latest research and trends with respected
colleagues, as well as increase visibility for our company. Industry leaders and international experts from 16
