Job Description
Overview:
The Digital Strategist is experienced in providing measurable results to clients through
digital marketing. Provides leadership across agency teams to develop campaigns,
communicate content, monitor online communities, uncover insights, analyze metrics,
and effectively educate our clients in all of the above. Responsible for a deep
understanding of the clients business and competitive landscape and comes to the table
with fresh ideas on how to leverage social media to achieve valued outcomes. Plays an
active role as a digital expert to help inform the agency and develop company-wide
perspectives on trends and the use of emerging digital media in the marketplace.
Responsibilities:








Defines scope, recommends approach and execution of digital strategy and strategic
planning projects for clients.
Analyze trends/results to determine the most effective digital implications and
solutions
Work to develop creative briefs that fully incorporate the digital perspective and will
inspire clients and creative teams alike to come up with idea development and
implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional agency project teams to motivate, create and
implement short and long-term online marketing strategies.
Stay current on users, interactive trends, best practices and digital experiences with an
eye towards client base proactively identifying opportunities for client growth.
Serve as an internal expert for all things digital including emerging trends and
practices
Participate in strategic planning for new business opportunities.
Must be able to work in a multi-discipline, collaborative environment and have a deep
knowledge of social media with the ability to discuss ROI of social media campaigns.
Qualifications/Requirements:




3-5+ years of digital interactive account planning, with proven hands on experience
and expertise.
Superior client service and demonstrated ability to grow client relationships.
Ability to translate client goals and demonstrate measurable value to the client
through the digital plan
Proven experience and expertise in developing and implementing digital marketing
plans







Proven experience of integrated advertising campaigns across multiple media
channels and the ability to demonstrate its impact on the brand.
Some experience with Google Analytics
Strong research skills and ability to translate the research to a solid presentation
Be familiar with how to apply the methodologies of interaction design and research to
website and product development.
Capacity to think holistically about a client's business.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop
well-written documents and presentations.
Moderate level of skill (or higher) in HTML, CSS, & Javascript using the most
current web standards.
