To whom it may concern,

I am interested in furthering a career in hospitality, commercial recreation, marketing, or public relations. I believe I am sufficiently qualified, having seven years of customer care and service experience in the hospitality and commercial recreation industries. I have worked for very well established companies including Ritz Carlton, Marriott, and

Mountain America Credit Union. I have also worked for Utah Olympic Park, which is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. I continue to utilize my interpersonal, problem solving, and management skills and experience on a daily basis.

Coupled with my professional experience and resume I hold a Bachelors degree of

Science in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism from the University of Utah.

While employed with Mountain America I was specifically sought out by a highly skilled manager to assist in a project that saved Mountain America over a million dollars in loss.

The Highland Dr. team successfully demonstrated the ability to provide impeccable interpersonal skills in order to gain the loyalty of each member and was able to increase sales and business. Referrals were obtained through tactful marketing approaches, sales of products and services boosted, and therefore renewed business and revenue were obtained. I demonstrated leadership in my branch through my example and skills in sales, obtaining referrals, as well as functioning through marketing campaigns, while still focusing on the member and effectively assessing, assisting, and advising their needs and concerns. I was at the top of the charts in these areas and proved an asset to the branch and come highly recommended by current and past employers. My example of customer service caused me to be recognized as extremely valuable, not only to my managers and team that I directly worked with but also to many at the corporate offices and in the training departments.

I am confident that if given the opportunity I will use my skills to contribute to your team and enhance your customers experience with your company. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to meet with you to discuss how my strengths and ability in this area can contribute to the success of your organization specifically. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.

Sincerely,

Kylie James
