Fiction Unit Study Guide
Test is Monday, January 7 and Tuesday, January 8
Part 1 of the test will be on fiction vocabulary. Be able to define
and apply the following words…You will not be permitted to
use any notes or study cards for this portion of the test. If you
have lost your “fiction unit vocabulary activity sheet” we did
early in the unit, a list of these words/definitions can be found
on Mrs. Wilson’s teacher page at www.hannasd.org.

Part 2 of the test will be reading comprehension and
identifying story elements in a variety of fiction text. A
thorough understanding of the vocabulary above will help you
succeed in this portion of the test as well.
Suggested stories to practice with reading comprehension and
identifying story elements in the literature book are…Greyling
(p.290), Jeremiah’s Song (p.38), and/or Stray (p.18).
