U.S. history is a junior level course, which is required for graduation. Students have several
options for satisfying the requirement - this worksheet is only one of the ways. Please check
with your instructor before beginning any class.
American History

Student is responsible for the following:
 Read pages 1-340 in Prentice Hall American Pathways to the Present
 Answer section assessment questions “Reading Comprehension” ONLY for each section.
 Answer Chapter Review- * Reviewing Key Terms, and *Standardized Test Prep.
 Answer the questions on Test Preparation
Minimum standards for work include complete sentences, correct grammar and spelling, and
complete answers (no minimal or obviously short or incomplete answers). Work that is not
complete will not be accepted for grading. No credit will be assigned for the class until all work
is complete and graded.
Packets will be handed back that are not labeled with the Unit, the Chapter and the
Section. Included in your titles will be “Reading Comprehension”, Reviewing Key Terms”,
“Standardized Test Practice”, and “Test Preparation”. If you have any questions see the
instructor before you begin.
