Classes 1: Series Production Cars – Saloon/ Estate/Hatchback Cars up to 1400 cc. 2: Series Production Cars – Saloon/Estate/Hatchback Cars 1401 to 2000cc. 3: Series Production Cars – Saloon/Estate/Hatchback Cars 2001cc and over. 4: Series Production Sports Cars & Specialist Production Sports Cars and Kit Cars. (Mazda MX5, Toyota MR2, etc) and (Westfield, Caterham, Lotus, VX220 etc.) and any other vehicle not eligible for Classes 1, 2, & 3 2. Scoring 2.1 Competitors entering the event will score championship points as follows: No of cars in class 5+ 5 4 3 2 1 Starting the event Finishing the event Fastest time of day st 1 in class 10 points 9.75 Points 9.50 Points 9.25 Points 9.00 Points 8.00 Points 1 point 1 point 1 point nd 2 in class 8 points 7.75 Points 7.50 Points 7.25 Points 7.00 Points Your position in your class 3rd in class 4th in class 6 points 5 points 5.75 Points 4.75 Points 5.50 Points 4.50 Points 5.25 Points 5th in class 4 points 3.75 Points 6th in class 3 points 2.2 In the event of a tie for overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd; the results will be decided on the competitor who has the most FTD’s or highest positions from all the championship events. 2.3 TDMC will run 10 events to carry championship points, out of the 10 events only your best 6 results will count towards your overall total for the championship. 3. Technical Regulations 3.1 Entrant’s cars must comply with Technical Regulations M 32 & M 33. (MSA Blue Book or http://www.msauk.org/site/cms/contentviewarticle.asp?article=1158.) 3.2 All Cars must retain original bodywork (although additions may be made) and window material must remain unaltered. Interior trim and original number and layout of seats must remain, although seats, steering wheel and seat belts may be changed /uprated. 3.3 Suspension configuration must remain unaltered, although individual components may be uprated. 3.4 Engine and Gearbox type and location must remain unaltered. 3.5 Capacity corrections to be applied to determine class eligibility are: 3.5.1 Rotary engines:- nominal capacity X1.5 3.5.2 Forced Induction engines (not Diesels):- nominal capacity X 1.5 3.5.3 Diesel Engines (Forced or Non-Forced Induction:- nominal capacity.) 3.6 Tyres inscribed “For Competition use only” shall not be used. In case of dispute, the scrutineers’ decision is final and binding. 4. Marshalling 4.1 Competitors may be required to marshal at events between competing should the organising club require it. There will also be a registration fee of £10.00 to be paid and a Championship Registration form filled in, NO points can be accrued prior to your registration and acceptance into the championship.
