Two mobile phones, purse with cash Rs. 1700/- and one button actuated knife used in crime has been recovered from their possession. INCIDENT On 2.11.2012, a PCR Call regarding quarrel near Lal Mandir was received at PS Patel Nagar. On this, SHO/Patel Nagar along with staff rushed to the spot where it was learnt that a boy has been robbed who has also been injured and has been shifted to Lady Hardinge hospital by the PCR Van. Accordingly, on the statement of Sh. Suraj Gupta, the injured, a case of robbery was registered at PS Patel Nagar and the investigation was taken up. To work out the case and apprehend the culprits, a team consisting of Inspr. Ranbir Singh, SHO/Patel Nagar, SI Narender Samota, Ct Ranjan, Ct Rakesh and Ct Parveen was constituted under the close supervision of Sh. Rajiv Midha, ACP/Patel Nagar. INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION During the course of investigation, concerted efforts were made to apprehend the culprits. Dossiers of suspected criminals of the locality having similar modus operandi were also shown to the complainant. During the course of investigation, information regarding possible involvement of “Hallu Gang” in the crime was received. The information was further developed and sources were deployed to ascertain the specific movement of the gang members. Sustained hard work of Police staff of PS Patel Nagar finally paid off and on a secret information, a trap was laid near Metro station Patel Nagar. Complainant was also associated with the team and at the instance of the complainant, three suspected persons were apprehended. Further investigation revealed that Sandeep @ Kalu is wanted in a case of extortion in Uttam Nagar. On 03.11.2012 SI Ugesh Kumar got a secret information that accused persons would be coming in the area of Hari Nagar. The police team laid a trap on Swarag Ashram road, near Signature Hotel, Hari Nagar New Delhi. At about 8. PM both the accused persons came on a Motorcycle Hero Honda Stunner DL4SNC 2558. They were stopped by the Police Party and on questioning they could not produce any document of the Motor cycle. On further questioning they revealed that the Motor Cycle was stolen from the area of Janakpuri, vide FIR. No-400/11 Dt: 27-11-2012 U/s 379 IPC PS- Janakpuri. There were interrogated at length. On sustained interrogation they disclosed their involvement in two more cases of Motorcycle theft. At their instance two more stolen motorcycles were recovered. His Godrej Almirah’s Handle Lock went out of order. To repair the lock, he called a mechanic from the Street. The mechanic repaired his handle lock and went out of the house abruptly. Soon after that when Mohan Singh checked his locker he found that his Jewellery and cash were missing from the locker. He raised alarm. NOV.2012 DATED 5, PRESS RELEASE AUTO LIFTER ARRESTED With the arrest of one auto lifter namely Deepak Thapa s/o Khem Bahdur r/o HNo. 95/6 Gali No. 0/3 Village Jagat Pur, Delhi vide, the Anti Auto Theft Squad of North-West District had worked out 3 cases of auto theft and recovered two (02) stolen vehicles and One (01) engine of a stolen motor cycle No. UP-21W-4391. INCIDENT:With a view to keep a check on the incidents of auto theft and to nab the criminals involved in auto lifting, the A.A.T.S had been sensitized and vehicle checking had also been intensified in the area of North-West District. On 2.11.12, a secret information was received that one person would come on a stolen motor cycle near Registar office, Pitam Pura to dispose off the same. On this information, a team comprising of the officials mention below laid a trap near Registar office, Pitam Pura and apprehended one youth with one motor cycle number DL-11-SB 2072 (Honda-CD Deluxe). DATED 5.11.2012 PRESS RELEASE TWO BURGLARS ARRESTED AND 10 LAPTOPS RECOVERED Bhalswa Dairy police of North West District has arrested two burglars namely Satish and Abhay Kumar and recovered 10 laptops (worth more than Rs. 1.80 lakhs). These Laptos were stolen by both these burglars alongwith their other associates from the D-63, AAM Foundation NGO’s, Shardhanand Colony, Bhalswa Dairy, Delhi, which imparts free education to poor children. INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST On 1.11.2012, a complaint in respect of theft at NGO office was received and as per the complaint case FIR No. 210/12 U/s 457/380 IPC PS Bhalswa Dairy was registered and investigation was taken up. During the investigation, on the same day secret information was received by SHO Bhalswa Dairy that two persons are trying to sell some stolen laptops. Accordingly, SHO/Bhalswa Dairy, Inspr. Ajay Kumar Singh constituted a team comprising of HC Narender, Ct Arvind and Ct Sumit. The team laid a trap and around midnight about 12.15 AM, two suspects namely Satish S/o Rama Kant r/o H. During sustained interrogation, they admitted their involvement in stealing the laptops after breaking the lock of an office situated at D- Block Shardhanand Colony, Delhi with the help of their other associates namely Ravi, Hakim Ali, Mahesh and Vikki @ Sumit (all the residents of Bhalswa JJ Colony). At their instance, 10 laptops out of 14 Laptops stolen from the NGO office were recovered from their rented room. INTERROGATION: During sustained interrogation, it was revealed that they had stolen 14 laptops. Out of those 14 Laptops, the recovered 10 laptops were in their possession as their shares and they were trying to sell out those laptops in order to earn handsome amount. Both the accused persons were staying in Shardhanand Colony, Bhalaswa Dairy, belong to lower middle class and were employed in a private factory at Samay Pur Badli. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE NORTH-WEST DISTT.,DELHI PRESS RELEASE PRESS RELEASE THREE ROBBERS ARRESTED INTRODUCTION: With the arrest of three robbers namely Pradeep @ Kundan, Rashid and Manoj Kumar, the police of PS Jahangir Puri, North West District has solved a snatching case. INCIDENT: On 2/11/12 at about 10.15 PM, complainant Mohd Asif @ Rahimudeen resident of Jahangir Puri was hearing his mobile phone (Nokia C-2, Black Colour) in front of his house when three boys came near him, snatched his mobile phone and ran away. He raised an alarm and ran behind them towards G-Block Road where public gathered and caught all the three fleeing robbers. They came out to be Pradeep @ Kundan s/o Ram Kumar r/o D-224, Jahangir Puri, Delhi, Rashid s/o Rafiq r/o Jhuggi No. 697, G-Block, Jahangir Puri, Delhi and Manoj Kumar s/o Lallu r/o Jhuggi No. 728, CD Park, Jahangir Puri, Delhi. From their possession, Nokia C-2 phone snatched from the complainant was also recovered. With the arrest of Pawan Kumar @ Vicky s/o Rajkumar R/o 111/8 Parkash Mohalla, Village Garhi, East of Kailash, New Delhi aged 21 years, AATS/South-East District has solved a sensational case of robbery of PS Kalkaji and recovered a m/cycle used to commit the crime, fire-arms and one robbed mobile phone. INVESTIGATION: On 1.11.12 Ct. Kailash Yadav No. 3355/SE received a secret information through informer that one Vicky, who has committed many robberies and snatching with his associates and also having some fire-arms, will come to Metro Station Nehru Place at about 8 PM for crime purpose. He informed SI Vikram Singh who developed the same and a team consisting of SI Vikram Singh, HC Parvir, Ct. Kailash, Ct. Vishwajeet and Ct. Parvesh under the supervision of I/C AATS SI Ajai Kumar Yadav and overall supervision of ACP/Ops. Sh. V.K. Kalia, was constituted. The team reached the spot i.e. Metro Station Nehru Place at about 7 PM. At about 8.30 PM the accused Pawan Kumar was seen and on the instance of informer he was apprehended and later his name and address known as Pawan @ Vicky s/o Rajkumar R/o 111/8 Parkash Mohalla, East of Kailash, New Delhi. His searching and frisking was made and one country made pistol with two live cartridges were recovered from his possession. INTERROGATION : MODUS OPERANDI & PROFILE On sustained interrogation accused Pawan @ Vicky disclosed that he was born in Village Garhi, East of Kailash, New Delhi. His father is a labourer. He studied upto 8th class and then started working in a gym in nearby locality but he left the job. He came in contact with Rahul @ Chussad, Sachin @ Karan and Suraj @ Monu who were already involved in many cases of robbery and snatching. He associated himself with them and started the same criminal activities by using his own m/cycle Bajaj Platina No. DL3SCA7545. He further disclosed that on the night intervening 30/31.10.12 they (accused Pawan @ Vicky, Rahul @ Chussad, Sachin @ Karan and Suraj @ Monu) robbed mobiles of two persons while they were on his bike and the victims were passing by near Pumpose Enclave and one of them was also attacked by his associate Sachin with surgical blade. NAME AND PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON 1. Deepak Bahadur S/o Karan Bahadur R/o Ward No. 3, Maaj Gaon, PS Mangal Sen, Disst, Achham Seti Anchal, Nepal aged 28 years. He is 5th class drop out and daily wages labour. 2. Ramesh Bahdur S/o Mahavir Bahadur R/O Ward No. 3, Maaj Gaon, PS Mangal Sen, Disst, Achham Seti Anchal, Nepal. He is illetrate and presently a care taker of one N- 145, Greater Kailsh Part-I, New Delhi. INFORMATION On 27/10/2012 Sh. Nafees S/o Sh. Akhtar Hussan R/o R-51, 3rd Floor, Joga Bai Extension, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi has reported about theft of 315 Bore Licensee Rifle with 20 live Rounds of 32 bore Revolver, one LED TV 42 Inch, one LCD TV 18 Inch, two mobile phones, six watches and some used clothes were stolen. He had doubt on his Chokidar Deepak Bahadur R/O Nepal, who also disappeared from the date of incident. On his complaint a case FIR No. 881/12 u/s 381 IPC was registered at PS Jamia Nagar and investigation was taken up. INVESTIGATION A team of SI Gokul Ram, HC Gajender Singh, Ct. Vijay Kumar under the leadership of Inspector Pankaj Singh SHO/Jamia Nagar and under the supervision Sh Data Ram ACP New Friends Colony started working on this case. One team went to the Indo-Nepal border in search of culprit. Other team interrogated the relatives of Deepak Bahadur and some Nepalies residents, who used to be in with Deepak Bahadur it learnt that Deepak Bahadur is trying to escape from Delhi and the secret informers and staff were deployed to catch the accused Deepak Bahadur. On 30.10.2012 he was apprehended at Nehru Place Bus terminal with stolen clothes and 7 watches. After thorough interrogation, he confessed his involvement. He was arrested in this case. During interrogation accused Deepak Bahadur disclosed that Deepak Bahadur, the Chokidar of the house contacted him and made a plan of theft at his owner flat on the occasion of Eid, i.e. on 26.10.2012 because the owner along with his family members will go to some other place. In the intervening night of 26-27th October 2012, they entered into the house and stole the 315 Bore rifle with some rounds of Revolver, one 42 Inch LED TV, one 18 Inch LCD TV, Two mobile phones, six watches and some used clothes. They kept the Rifle with rounds and one LED TV with his uncle Ramesh Bahadur. Later on Ramesh Bahadur was also arrested in this case and stolen articles were recovered. Additional Commissioner of Police South-East District, New Delhi Dated 05.11.2012 QUACK ARRESTED FOR CAUSING DEATH DUE TO NEGLIGENCE On 04.11.12 a Quack namely Dr. Ishaq Ansari S/O Sh. Alisher Ansari R/O C-52, Ground Floor, Hari Nagar, New Delhi was apprehended by local police of PS Maya Puri while he was trying to flee from his house after a patient , 04 years old child namely Rishu died under treatment. The father of the deceased child has alleged that Dr. Ishaq Ansari had given some unknown injection and medicines to the deceased, after which the child collapsed immediately. PROFILE OF ACCUSED ARRESTED 1. Accused Ishaq Ansari S/o Sh. Alisher Ansari claiming himself as doctor R/o C-52, Ground Floor, Hari Nagar age-40 years. His permanent address is V.P.O Piprajham Distt. Khusinagar U.P. At present practicing as doctor at Rewari line Jhuggies in the area of PS Mayapuri. He is married. INCIDENT Accused Ishaq Ansari is a family doctor of Sh. Runjay Singh. Whenever the family members of Runjay Singh become sick, he always goes to Dr. Ishaq Ansari for treatment. 2-3 days back, he went to the said doctor for treatment of his ailing son Rishu. The said doctor gave some expired medicine and injection to the said child after which the child collapsed. The father of the deceased went to DDU Hospital for further treatment of his son where doctor declared him brought dead. He came back and went to Ansari clinic where he found that Dr. Ansari fled from the clinic and he also removed the board which was on the shop/clinic. Thereafter the accused was caught by staff of PS Mayapuri. INTERROGATION AND MODUS OPERANDI During interrogation Dr. Ishaq Ansari S/O Sh. Alisher Ansari has stated that he has completed his education from patna, Bihar and he is 12th pass. He was very poor that is why he could not complete his education. He wanted to become a Doctor but could not fulfill his dreams. Therefore he arranged a certificate of RMP from Patna, Bihar. He was well aware that rich families always go to see the doctor of the eminent hospitals and nobody comes to see him. So he started his practice in the area of mayapuri because in the jhuuggi cluster nobody will ask him for any degree and due to illiteracy in jhuggi he could dupe easily the jhuggi/illiterate people and hence he could earn handsome money. He has been practicing in Delhi for 18 years as RMP. During interrogation he produced Medical Practitioner Certificate No- 5055/53 dt. 13 May 93 for RMP Bihar under the patronage of Medicare and Rural Dental Practitioner Welfare Council Registered by Govt. of Bihar which is not endorsed from Delhi Medical Council. He further stated that a 4 year old child namely Rishu was brought by his father Sh. Runjay Singh for treatment and during treatment he had given injection to the deceased child and gave expired dated medicines due to which the child collapsed. Subsequently, a case FIR No. 168/12 u/s 27 Delhi Medical Council Act and 304A IPC was got registered and accused quack Ishaq Ansari was arrested and investigation of the case is going on.
