One of the aids which might be used to determine readiness for this course is a qualifying score on the Intermediate Algebra Diagnostic Test. This course is designed to strengthen the algebra skills of business or life science students in preparation for calculus. Matrix algebra and linear programming will also be included. Analytical reading and problem solving are required for success in this course. Transfer Credit: CSU and/or private coll/univ.
