This role is to support the marketing team within the GIP Rare Disease division (endocrinology and haemophilia). ROLE PURPOSE With a high level of autonomy, to develop and lead identified key marketing initiatives within the specialist rare disease sector. To support marketing team to plan and implement the strategic and operational brand plans for the UK (aligned with European plans) to deliver and exceed the revenue expectation. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Project Leadership; accountable for the development, implementation and evaluation of a key in-year marketing program Operating Plan Delivery; involvement in team based marketing projects, aligned to operating plan, including materials approval, cross functional team involvement, impact analysis. Market Intelligence; assist with analysis of the reports to support marketplace understanding of the key dynamics, including account and customer segmentation, and dynamic start/stop sections of the market. Internal Communications; lead the departmental intranet system and provide communication assistance as required, also support the communication of stories from the rare disease team to GIP News / One Pfizer. Self-starter – is comfortable to take the initiative and be enthusiastic and proactive Planning and prioritisation to enable the delivery of projects on time Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills Work effectively in a team, but with confidence to liaise with Pfizer personnel outside of the team at all levels Ability to generate creative and innovative ideas, and able to consider many possibilities IT literacy (in particular, a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential) Sought after:- In advance of starting, to have a basic knowledge of :o o Haemophilia Endocrinology (Growth Hormone Deficiency, and Acromegaly)
