REQUIREMENTS:
Candidate Process
To become a member of the Eta Iota Chapter of Beta
Alpha Psi, the following must be completed:
1. Meet the following academic requirements:
- Must have declared a concentration in Accounting,
Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Must carry a cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must have passed or be in the process of taking ACG
4101 if you are an Accounting major; FIN 3403 if you are
an Finance major; and CGS 3300 if you are an MIS
major.
2. Fill out the application.
3. Submit a copy of your Panther Degree Audit or
unofficial transcript.
4. Pay the $110 candidate dues
5. Undergraduates must fulfill the required number of
points during the semester*:

General Meeting (out of 11)* – 9
Ahead of the Game – 1
On site Meeting – 1
Mock Interviews – 1
Community Service Event – 2
Social – 2
Tutoring – 1
Returning Members & Masters
Students
1. Meet the following academic requirements:
- Must have an overall GPA of 3.0
2. Fill out the application.
3. Submit a copy of your Panther Degree Audit or
unofficial transcript.
4. Pay the $75 membership dues***
5. Undergraduates must fulfill the required number of
points during the semester:
***Master students entering as Candidates: dues are
$110.

*(Elections must be 1 of the 5 meetings)
Total: 17
*(Elections must be 1 of the 9 meetings)
*Replacement Point: Point that can be used to SUBSITUTE a requirement when properly earned (Cannot
be used to replace the Elections requirement)
*Floating Point: Point used to measure how active you are. These points make you eligible to win “Most
Active Awards” when properly earned (These CANNOT be used to replace a requirement)
