Membership Requirements
 Submit completed Beta Alpha Psi Application for Candidacy by September 16th, 2014, including nonrefundable application fee of $120.
 Undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.1in major (ACG and TAX 3000 and above courses) AND
at least one of the following: (1) an overall FAU GPA of 3.1 or above OR (2) a cumulative GPA of 3.1 or
above on the most recent 60 semester hours OR (3) a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or above on the most recent 30
semester hours, OR (4) graduate student in the College of Business
 Earn eight professional development hours by November 11th, 2014
 Earn eight community service hours by November 11th, 2014
 Earn two additional professional development or community service hours by November 11th, 2014
 Attend initiation ceremony on November 17th, 2014 (NOTE: Initiation ceremony does not count towards the
required professional development and community service hours)
A maximum of five non-Beta Alpha Psi professional development hours and a maximum of five non-Beta Alpha
Psi community service hours may be used towards requirements PER ACADEMIC YEAR. A verification form
for all non-Beta Alpha Psi activities must be submitted to the Vice President of Reporting prior to November 11th,
2014.

Attach $120 non-refundable application fee (check or money order payable to Beta Alpha Psi; no cash accepted)
Submit signed application and application fee to the Beta Alpha Psi mailbox in the School of Accounting Office, 119 Barry
Kaye Hall by September 16th, 2014 (Note: Officers will not accept applications at the weekly professional development
workshops)
