Inactivity: Each semester a letter will be sent to every firm that the Gamma Lambda chapter is affiliated with listing that semester’s candidates, active members, and inactive members. If a member must go inactive due to a class conflict, that member will remain on the active list of members as long as he or she participates in that semester’s service activities. This letter is something that the firms want to receive as to know who is honoring their commitment to Beta Alpha Psi and proving themselves as quality, young professionals. The officers and faculty advisors of Beta Alpha Psi will handle all other inactivity issues on a case-by-case basis. Overall Expectation: We strongly encourage participation within the meetings, if not, these firms are less likely to come back and share their knowledge with our organization. Remember these firms are here for you, so take advantage of the rare opportunity presented to you through this organization. A lot of you will be working for these companies in the future, so present yourself accordingly, and approach every situation as if it is an interview. You can only make a first impression once! With that in mind, let’s have a good year!
