Spring/Summer Collection 2014
The Gant footwear collection is created into two parts, essential and seasonal. The
essential shoes are inspired from the American Sportswear Heritage and will be an
important part of the collection season after season. The seasonal part is an updated
preppy fashion statement that will be renewed.
PERFECT NAVY- Navy is the perfect color, looks amazing on the Gant shoe. All
shades of blue will be important together with water colored pastels. Key fabrics are
washed oxford, chambray, seersucker and cotton twill. Key leathers are silky suede
and soft nubuck. The classic plimsole for men and woman will be offered in a wide
range of water colored pastels and American sportswear classic colors in washed
oxford and twill. The key styles are plimsole, boat shoe, car shoe, classic penny loafer
and bucks.
OCEAN PREP- The Ivy League heritage meets with being born and raised closed to the
ocean, a nautical take on Collegiate. It’s all about the mix of outfits and detailing. The
colors are based on Ivy league heritage navy, red, cream, green, yellow, orange and
pink. Key fabrics are washed linen, light weight oxford and chambray. Soft natural
leather and silky suede are key materials. Details as rope piping, color blocking,
decksoles on vulcanized and thongs. The key styles are runners, sneakers, espadrilles
and thongs.
LUXORY- The top of the collection is made in Italy. Woman´s collection is dressed,
feminine and modern, it’s the perfect shoe for a ”wedding party”. Top quality materials,
leather outsole with indigo rubber insert. For men´s, there is the Good year welted
construction in top quality with authentic longwing and the postman styles in color
black and burgundy
