word dress is a word that can be used different ways. The word dress can be used as a verb (it shows
action or something you are doing) when you use it to mean that you put clothes on (you dress to go
outside to play). The word dress can also be used as a noun (names something) when you are talking
about a particular piece of clothing for a girl or woman (bought a new dress). Dress can also be used
as an adjective (a word that describes something) when you are talking about clothes that are to be
worn for special things (like church). Sometimes we have play clothes and shoes and we have dress
clothes and shoes (dress clothes are the good clothes that we try very hard not to get dirty so we can
use them for special occasions).
