DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Remove cap from nozzle of syringe. Direct the nozzle of the syringe into the side
of the horse’s empty mouth. Depress the plunger to dispense the desired dose onto the tongue. Keep mouth
closed for a few seconds to ensure that the dose is swallowed. Replace cap after use.
DOSAGE: Horses - 4.4mg/kg (lOnW450kg) twice on day 1, then 2.2mg/kg (5mL/450kg) twice daily for 4

days, then 2.2mg/kg (5mL1450kg) daily or alternate days as required.
Ponies - 2.2mg/kg: (2.5mL1225kg) twice on day 1, then 2.2mg/kg (2.5mL/225kg) daily for 4 days or as
directed by the veterinarian. It is advisable to give food immediately after administration of the dose.
MEAT WITHHOLDING PERIOD: DO NOT USE LESS THAN 28 DAYS BEFORE SLAUGHTER
FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION.
DISPOSE OF EMPTY CONTAINERS BY WRAPPING IN PAPER AND PUTTING IN GARBAGE.

Anti - Inflammatory Analgesic for Horses
Active Constituent - PHENYLBUTAZONE 200 mg/mL
ORALBUTE oral paste is an anti-inflammatory analgesic for use In horses. The active Ingredient is phenylbutazone at a concentration of 1 g in
each 5mL of paste. Oralbute is indicated for the control of inflammation in horses following acute strains of joints, tendons and ligaments. It is a
palliative treatment in serous arthritis and, in conjunction with antibiotics, in infectious arthritis. It is useful in the relief of pain and inflammation
following surgical procedures, wounds and contusions, bursitis, common lameness, osteoarthritis, disc syndromes and rheumatism.
ORALBUTE is presented as 5x20mL pre-filled disposable oral syringes. Each 5mL contains lg phenylbutazone formulated in a magnesium
trisilir-te paste to minimise gastrointestinal upset.

CONTRAINDICATIONS - Do not use in horses where severe cardiac, renal or hcpatic dysfunction,
gastro-intestinal tract ulceration or blood dyscrasia is suspected. Phenylbutazone can potentiate the effects
of other drugs due to its protein binding capacity. Care should be taken during any concurrent therapy.
Do not use concurrentlywith other Non Steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs. Discontinue treatment if
animal develops gastro-intestinal or vascular disorders, oral ulceration or inappetance.

Dispose of empty containers by wrapping in paper and putting in garbage.
