Our advanced helmet systems enhance pilot situational awareness by concentrating data from all aircraft systems and displaying it spatially on the pilot’s visor. The pilot’s head does not need to be raised or lowered to read vital data, increasing operational efficiency and pilot safety. The new generation ANVIS/HUD®-24 offers a “round the clock” mission solution with advanced day and night display capabilities operating on a single integrated system. The night display is mounted on the NVG, while the day display is mounted on the NVG helmet mount, offering a seamless solution for day and night operations. Independent displays for each pilot present critical flight information, symbols including color, and 3D conformal symbology related to the specific mission. ANVIS/HUD®-24 improves flight safety and situational awareness by reducing the pilot’s head and eye motion for cockpit scanning. The system enables safe performance of complicated maneuvers in bad weather and low visibility conditions, low altitudes or night flights. ANVIS/HUD®-24 offers a customizable solution that is compatible to the cockpit’s instrumentation and display. We have established a clear leadership position in the HMS market. Through our jointly-owned companies with Rockwell Collins, we supply HMS for fighter aircraft, including: the Display and Sight Helmet (DASH), the Joint Helmet-Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) and the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) HMS. For helicopters, we offer night vision goggles (ANVG/HUD®) for use both night and day, as well as other ancillary systems. We have supplied thousands of ANVG/HUD® systems for a variety of aircraft worldwide for over two decades. This is consistent with our policy of emphasizing ethics in our business practices. Our social responsibility policy is expressed in many different ways with a common theme: an ongoing inter-relationship with the community. Our policy enhances and encourages the voluntary efforts of our companies and employees who donate their time and efforts in the support of members of our communities who are in need. These tutors provide the younger generation with accessibility to technology-related knowledge as well as other educational resources that are generally lacking in those regions. In this regard, we place priority on initiatives to promote educational advancement, particularly in the technology sectors. As an organization with extensive know-how and technology resources, as well as a long-term strategic approach to management, we see the education of the youth of today and future generations as the basis for continual growth and advancement of society, both for the hightech and scientific spheres in general, and for our company specifically. In addition to our on community-related activities, we place emphasis on environmentally sound operational practices, including numerous initiatives to reduce consumption of water, electricity, paper and fuel. We follow the leading standards of corporate governance and focus on ethical behavior in our business dealings. We are convinced that contributing to the community and sustainability makes good business sense. This has been reflected in our ranking among the top Israeli companies in the “Maala” social responsibility index and in our participation as a member of the Ethisphere Institute’s Business Ethics Leadership Alliance, as well as the international forum on business ethical conduct (IFBEC) of the aevcsp. defence industry. A major activity resulting from our social responsibility policy is facilitating the placement of our employees as tutors in peripheral communities and less developed neighborhoods. We promote numerous other community support activities in Israel, in the United States and in countries in which we have subsidiaries. We encourage employees to volunteer for activities that help people in need, such as single-parent families, the elderly and those with disabilities, as well as local and national charitable organizations.
