C4I for First Responders
FRONTS-2C – A complete C4I solution for public safety forces provides full
situational awareness pictures at all levels, in real time. Complete multimedia
services (voice, video and data) to/from any entity can be activated and used by
direct and simple operation of the advanced Command and Control GIS-based
system, at any terminal or command center.
Rotundus - A Command and Control management system for security
applications and emergency and first responders. The system is a “manager of
managers” providing advanced data integration and
situation awareness for central and regional command and control centers.
Government IT
Border Control and Management System (BCMS) supports protection from

WiT™ (Wise Intelligence Technology) solution for intelligence knowledge

Border Security and Management
Green Borders: Integrated Border Security and Management System – national
level turnkey programs characterized by multi-sensor integration and multi-force
management providing border guard forces the ability to monitor, detect and
counter any incursions. The system helps to counter day to day problems such
as terror, illegal immigration, drug trafficking and illegal trade.
Blue Borders: An Integrated Coastal Surveillance System providing turnkey
surveillance systems for maritime monitoring and detection, including all
infrastructure, communication, surveillance capabilities (integration of EO sensor
and maritime radars) and management of C4I software. The system facilitates
maritime traffic monitoring; prevention of smuggling, illegal shipments, customs
violations and illegal immigration; controlling fishing activities and coordination of
search and rescue operations.

Homeland Security Training Systems
HLS Simulation is Elbit Systems’ solution for the training of HLS commanders
and decision makers in both HQ and field security activities. The system enables
multi-disciplinary security management planning, training, debriefing and
evaluation of procedures.
The multi-disciplinary system, based on accurate simulative models and highfidelity realistic representation of the complex urban arena, enables interactive
simulation of various security scenarios including public order, terror attacks,
accidents, hazardous materials, strategic infrastructures security, natural
disasters, large scale sports events and many others.
Long-Range Communication Systems
MICOM advanced HF solutions are designed for homeland security,
governmental and high level commercial applications. The MICOM product range
offers long-range voice and data communication solutions. Currently used by
security forces, governments and commercial organizations worldwide, MICOM
uses HF radio communication as a reliable infrastructure and airtime free
solution. The MICOM family is designed and integrated into various
configurations: portable, transportable, vehicular, naval and base configurations.
Advanced Automatic Antennas Tuners, Half- Loop and NVIS antennas complete
the solution package.
Infrastructure Security
Perimeter Security and Intrusion Detection – utilizing electronic alarm fences
and virtual fences, combined with electro-optical pointing, verification and
tracking, our systems detect and deter any attempt by intruders to climb, cut,
destroy, distort or tamper with the security fences. These systems are utilized to
protect sensitive infrastructure facilities such as pipelines, oil and gas
installations, airports, ports and others.
Train and Rail Track Security – We have deployed a safety system designed to
monitor and automatically detect day and night threats on the rail tracks using
advanced video motion detection applications that meet harsh safety regulations
and prevent train-automobile accidents at unmanned level crossings.
Oil and Gas Pipeline Protection – the protection of pipelines against sabotage,
illegal tapping and terrorist action is a high priority all over the world.
I-PASS is an innovative technology that protects pipelines using a unique fiberoptic sensor which detects seismic and other intrusive signals along the cable
and alerts the operator. The sensor cable is buried along the pipeline and detects
suspicious activity close to the pipeline, giving the authorities time to identify the
activity and respond. The use of fiber optic technology enables deployment over
great distances, making it well suited for pipeline security.
Airport and Seaport Security – We provide a variety of outdoor and indoor
security solutions and measures to secure ports, airports and related facilities
from undesired intrusions. They enable securing port operations while complying
with the complex body of regulations that govern airport and aviation security –
including ICAO, ECAC, IATA, ACI and local requirements.
Positive Code – Elbit Security Systems' Secure Code system enables real-time
identification and verification of commercial pilots entering a country's airspace.
The system provides authentication that an arriving plane is controlled by its
designated pilot. The system includes personal smart cards which generate a
single, time varying unique code to each pilot at the authentication point. In
addition, the system is linked to the international AFTN network, which identifies
designated flight plans approaching the airspace. The core of the system is he
capability to fuse data from airliners, local and international data bases in real
time with the data from the smart card of the pilot, to provide incoming pilots with
a Positive Code. This unique system is fully operational in Israel.
