Class Participation: A vital part of the student's total grade. Current events and political cartoon interpretation
will be discussed daily.
ALL STUDENTS MUST:
1. Arrive and be seated at the bell. Not complying will be considered late to class. This
will require a misconduct report which will result in detention. If another
teacher keeps you after class for whatever reason, please ask for a pass.
2. Be prepared for class EVERYDAY, with your textbook, notebook (just for World
History), and a writing implement. (Please understand the concept of every day!)
3. All Homework and projects must be handed in "WHEN DUE". Students will lose 10
points for each day their work is late. Homework must be in complete sentences, written
neatly, and in blue or black ink.
4. It is the student's responsibility to obtain missed work when absent from class. It does not
matter if it is a field trip, meeting with guidance or illness.
1. School policy gives an absent student 10 days to make up a test, or a grade of "0" will be
assigned.
2. In the event of an extended illness, guidance should be notified and all teachers will provide
work to be sent home.
