Vending exposition to be held in October
National Automatic Merchandising Association (NAMA)
will hold its expo October 28–30 in the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. The theme of this year’s
expo will be “Take Your Business to the Next Level.”
The 25 educational sessions will include “The ABCs
of Activity-Based Costing” by a representative from
M&M/Mars and “Snack Machines and Shelf Space Utilization” by a representative of Hershey Chocolate USA.
More than 300 exhibits are planned for the trade show,
running each day 10:00–4:00 concurrently with the
educational sessions.
NAMA is the national trade association of the merchandise vending, OCS (office coffee service) and contract foodservice industries. Its membership comprises
service companies, equipment manufacturers and suppliers of products and services to these businesses. Services
to members include, but are not limited to, government
affairs/legislation; education for operators and expo
exhibitors; health, safety and technology; labor relations,
security and accountability; human resources; marketing
support; industry statistics; industry standards; machine
certification; surveys and reports; national and Western
expos; and numerous special conferences.
