Faculty of Cognitive Sciences and Human Development, UNIMAS COURSE TITLE EFFECTIVE TEACHING AND LEARNING (Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran Berkesan) COURSE CODE KMS2013 CREDIT 3 PREREQUISITE/S N/A SYNOPSIS This course aims to enhance students' knowledge and skills in planning and delivering training effectively. It also details out some effective learning strategies. Topics to be discussed include theories and models of learning, concept of adult education, factors influencing the training-learning techniques. The course also covers issues such as challenges for the instructor/trainer in the future, specifically in carrying out the role of a facilitator in the teaching-learning process. Students will be involved in creating a training programme from start to end, using appropriate Learning Models in developing the contents to meet target user needs. (Matlamat kursus ini adalah untuk mempertingkatkan ilmu dan kemahiran pelajar dalam merancang dan mengimplementasi program latihan dengan berkesan. Ia juga merangkumi teori dan model-model pembelajaran, konsep pembelajaran dewasa, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran. Kursus ini juga memberi peluang kepada pelajar untuk mendalami peranan sebagai fasilitator latihan dalam proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran. Pelajar akan terlibat dalam pembinaan sebuah pogram latihan dari fasa pertama hingga tamat, dengan mengaplikasi elemen teori pembelajaran dalam pembinaan kandungan program latihan, untuk memenuhi keperluan pasaran semasa.)
