DEVON ALLISTONE PRODUCE•EDIT•DESIGN•MOVE SCHOOL Diploma - Graphic Design Algonquin College - Ottawa, ON WORK 2002 - Present > Freelance I have worked on many different types of projects over the years. However, most of my freelance work consists of commercial spots at the national level. I have done varied projects as a short and long form editor and producer; however, most of the projects I have done utilize my skills as a broadcast designer. I have found though, that all my skill sets are used regardless of the expected medium. Having these varied skill sets has kept my clients happy as there is a great deal of added value, allowing me to work with greater autonomy. My client list includes companies such as Snapple, CD Plus, Nine West, Freshlook, Random House and Secret. 2001 - 2008 > CHUM Television Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects During my years with CHUM in Toronto I was the senior editor for post for my department, handling post-production needs for several CHUM stations, CHUM Television International, CHUM Corporate and IdeaCity. While many of my duties involved creating show opens and elements, promos, commercials and station branding related materials, I also handled producing and editing duties for many of the short and long form edit projects, DVD design and authoring, script writing, and directing and overseeing shoots from time to time. As well, I was responsible for supervising much of the post work done by our roster of freelancers that were hired for various projects. I was involved in the creative concept and execution of an array of projects and would routinely work closely with clients, producers and other departments. However, many of the projects would be handled entirely by myself from concept through to delivery.
