HGC Wins Contract to Offer International Bandwidth
plus Internet Upstream Services to Vietnam Datacommunication Company
Hong Kong and Vietnam, 17 May 2007 – Hutchison Global Communications Limited (“HGC”), a whollyowned subsidiary of Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited (SEHK: 2332, NYSE: HTX),
and Vietnam Datacommunication Company (“VDC”) jointly announced that they had signed a contract
about HGC’s provision of 622Mbps International Bandwidth plus Internet upstream services to VDC.
With HGC and VDC signed the contract in a ceremony on 17 May 2007 in Hanoi, Vietnam, HGC will
offer 622Mbps submarine cable capacity riding on Sea-Me-We 3 cable to extend VDC’s connectivity to
Hong Kong and at the same time serve as VDC’s international IP transit upstream providers.
