Make sure your response directly addresses the question asked.

You may find it useful to plan out a response on draft paper first then produce a coherent
and considered response to the topic.

Give yourself 30 minutes to complete the test (as there are 30 minutes in the final test).
We suggest setting up a test environment and timing yourself so it’s similar to the final test.
4.
Work as quickly and accurately as you can.
5.
To obtain an accurate result, a dictionary and other resources or devices should NOT
be used for this Practice Test.
Practice Test Review
There are no answers or sample pieces available for this Practice test. However, you can ask a
teacher, tutor or someone with very good English writing skills to point out any mistakes or areas
which can be improved. You can then continue practising by writing another piece based on a
different topic.
The Written Expression Task final test will be assessed against the following criteria:
