Dear Friends:
We’re pleased to share with you our condensed Annual Report for the fiscal year
of 2012.
Thanks to your confidence in our ability to deliver impact, we are also pleased to
announce that we’ve generated the highest revenue in Big Brothers Big Sisters
of Massachusetts Bay’s history. This will allow us to serve more children in future
years and help us realize our strategic five-year growth plan. We could not have
done it without you and we are truly grateful.
The year ahead will be exceptionally transformational. We’re excited to reach
even more children, grow our friendship with you and work toward creating more
positive change in the communities of Massachusetts Bay. On behalf of over 5,400

Bright was 8 years old and lacked a consistent father
figure in his life when he was first matched in 2002.
10 years later, with his Big Brother Norman still by
his side, Bright is now starting his freshman year at
UMASS Amherst. He attributes his success to
Norman and BBBSMB.
“My Big Brother, Norman, was one of the biggest supporters and driving forces behind me
seeing the importance of my education. Since we have been matched, he has constantly
instilled in me a yearning to grasp my education for the benefit of myself and those around me”.
