and practising some techniques for learning tricky words.
Homework – to make a topic word mat to use during history lessons. Copy out the
topic words carefully onto the A5 paper provided and decorate. Alternatively, you
might like to use a computer to type up the words and use clipart to decorate. If
using a computer, please ensure that the final work only takes up half of an A4
sheet so that it is small enough to tuck into your topic book. The words must be
